Is it bad for the eyes to watch too much television in the dark?
Occasionally is fine, but in a nutshell … when you in a dark room, the pupils become larger. When you're in a dark room and looking directly at something bright, your pupils are still higher than they normally would be in a lit room, more light so that what is needed is filtered in the back of the eye. Anytime you're in a place where no natural light, their eyes will be conducted. Lighting, or lack of, usually does not cause anything bad to happen in a permanent sense, but it can put stress on the eyes, which can but headaches, or just make your eyes feel tired.
