PA System … Have a couple of questions.?
More than a question. First-What is the difference between passive and active speakers Pa? Second-Do speakers Mackie PA and work by simply connecting to a power amp like a Peavey or QSC? third-Do I have to use the channel mixer that usually come with 12-16 large PA systems or I can still use my dj mixer? I have more speaker cabinets to be large and mobile bluky of my concerts and would like to upgrade to something smaller, but still represent a contribution. I play music that has a lot of voices, so i need real good mids and highs. Moves are also important Any advice is appreciated.
