Question about …..? KitchenAid Stand Mixers
Which is better: nod or lift-bowl? Any distinct advantages / disadvantages for either? Furthermore, the opinions in power? Anyone I have spoken say that 325 watts is enough. The tilt head model Craft I'm studying is 325 watts, while the Pro-bowl lift that I am considering has 450 watts. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you very much.
If you want the full range of cuisine from all / baking / food preparation options, then choose the 450 watts. This allows you to manage the hardest hitters bread and cookie doughs, the grinding of large quantities of meat, etc. This would be the only benefit in the choice of the Pro model, with additional power. Otherwise, the artisan, with 325 watts, would be enough for your needs. Nod or lift-bowl? That's more of a personal decision rather than a performance one. I prefer the nod, because I find it annoying having to unlock bowls just to have a look and see what happens. The proposal to buy the Pro for the simple fact that the maximum power is a mistake, I think. More is more, if they use just a waste.
