Ground beef meat and potatoes Beef Slow Cooker Recipe
For meat:
3 pounds ground beef
3 / 4 sleeve of saltine crackers, crushed
Milk 1 / 2 cup
In powder 1 1 / 2 teaspoons garlic
1 1 / 2 teaspoons onion powder
Lower 1 / 2 teaspoon black pepper
Salt 1 / 4 teaspoon of
Meat coating
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
For the sauce:
1 / 3 cup all-purpose flour
3 bouillon cubes
Of salt 1 / 2 teaspoon
1 red / 2 teaspoon
1 1 / 2 cups water
Milk 1 / 2 cup
5 or 6 potatoes, thinly sliced or cut in Fourth
INSTRUCTIONS
1. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, crackers, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper and milk. Mix until well blended. Round or oval shape patties and set aside.
2. Grease the bottom of slow cooker and put in the potatoes.
3. Dissolve bouillon cubes in water. Put flour, salt and pepper in a separate bowl. Add small amounts of water at a time, stirring continuously. Add milk and mix well to avoid lumps. Pour over potatoes in the crock pot or slow cooker.
4. Dredge both sides of each beef patty in the flour.
5. Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat. Beef burgers Brown on each side, turning once. Place the burgers on top of potatoes in the pot.
6. Cover the pot and simmer over low heat 4 to 5 hours. The high setting, cook for 2 to 3 hours.
