Cooking with children after school in …?
I work in an afterschool program and cooking with children (Pre K-1) once a week. I have 30 minutes for each group and have to cook the same 3 times for each group of children. I am looking for recipes that kids can help with and participate in reality that are not just watching me do everything. The only problem is that they are limited to a small toaster oven, a griddle pancake, and possibly can get my hands on some more electric kitchen appliances. This is what I'm doing on Monday to give you an idea of what I want … I will have children finely crush cookies in a Ziploc bag then add the butter and some sugar to it so it has a moist crust (usually it is assumed to cool at night but I can eat wet). Then I'll add the pudding and possibly superior to a fruit. I just want recipes that can help each child to participate in particular, because they are younger and not bother if I assign specific tasks
