Home Theater speaker question?
I'm building a home theater and would use 4 integrated speakers and a subwoofer. Someone mentioned that the sound quality could be improved by the addition of center channel speaker. In my setup, I have two speakers flanking the front wall TV (facing in the same direction as the TV). I have two side-wall speakers, and I have a subwoofer. I have no room to add a 3rd speaker as a front integrated. Can I add a center channel speaker (not bundled) to my system without distorting the sound? Enough of being built, my center channel speaker sitting on my entertainment unit rack.
I have a similar setup and have the center speaker … it just sits under the TV in an open space in the cabinet of TV (50 "plasma) sits on. Not on the wall .. the center speaker, to me, is the most important.
