A law prohibiting alcohol advertising on TV Do you agree or disagree?
Section 1. No advertising of alcohol is permitted in any commercial or noncommercial television stations and radio. Section 2. The ads are defined as the sponsorship slots available throughout paid for profit or commercial television, no radio transmission time slots. Section 3. Implementation will be through the Department of Justice Section 4. This prohibition is effective July 1, 2007. Section 5. Any and all existing state or federal laws in conflict with this law is void and void.
I do not agree, even his "law" is for the good cause and I do not like alcohol either. It makes little sense. You can not really ban without alcohol advertising on television and other media, the advertising of alcohol is still everywhere. Come to a football stadium during a game and see what I mean. Instead of completely banning advertising on TV, you can have them paid for Anti drinking and driving ads or organization ….
